Team Mathews produced an outstanding performance at the second leg of the IBO National Triple Crown, taking first place in three Pro divisions and claiming five podiums overall in Franklin, Pennsylvania.
Mathews Team Shooter Levi Morgan finished the weekend with a combined score of 470, punching 20 X’s overall and claiming first place in Pro Male (PMR).
Mathews Team Shooters Emily McCarthy and Sharon Wallace claimed first and second in Pro Female (PRF). McCarthy finished the weekend with a combined score of 445 and 13 X’s overall. Wallace followed up her teammate with a combined score of 438 and 11 X’s. McCarthy’s finish this weekend marks her second podium finish in the race for the 2025 Triple Crown.
Adding on to the Team’s success, Team Shooter Jeff Hopkins finished the event with a combined score of 467 and a commanding 21 X-count claiming first place in Pro Senior Release (PSR). Teammate Tim Gillingham had another great event coming off a recent podium finish in the first leg of the IBO Triple crown, managing to punch 14 X’s overall with a total combined score of 457 to claim second place in Pro Senior Release.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better event at the second leg of the IBO Triple Crown,” said Derek Phillips, Mathews Pro Staff Manager. “It’s incredible to see so many of our shooters leading the field, especially sweeping the top of podiums in Pro Male, Female, and Senior Release. We’re in a great position for taking another shot at the National Triple Crown this year.”
