Event details:
This on-and-off-trail hike is open to all ages. Be sure to bring water, sunscreen, bug spray and binoculars for wildlife watching. Closed-toe shoes and a sense of adventure are a must.
Allegan State Game Area is the largest tract of public land in southern Michigan, spanning over 50,000 acres. This state game area supports crucial habitat for many plant and wildlife species, including those that are threatened and endangered. Conservation efforts here have brought species back from the brink of extinction, including the successful reintroduction of the trumpeter swan and the eastern wild turkey.
We hope you will join us to explore one of our most valuable and extensive natural habitats.
