Q, LLC is proud to announce that Sean List has officially joined the company as Chief Legal Officer. A fierce defender of the firearms industry with a deep understanding of federal overreach, Sean brings a decade of legal experience, industry wins, and real-world credibility to the Q team.

Sean isn’t some suit with a résumé—he’s been in the trenches. He’s taken on the ATF and won, advised clients ranging from brick-and-mortar stores to industry giants, and helped draft landmark pro-2A legislation. In New Hampshire, he led the defense in Hardy v. Chester Arms, a case that protected firearm industry immunity all the way to the state’s Supreme Court. In 2024, he successfully overturned an FFL revocation under the ATF’s “zero tolerance” policy—one of the first wins of its kind in the region.

“Sean’s been on the front line of that fight for years, and now he’s bringing that same fire to help lead Q. He gets what we’re doing here—and more importantly, he believes in it.”

Sean has served as Q’s outside legal counsel for years, helping navigate complex ATF and regulatory changes. His work has influenced national firearms policy, and he’s played a critical role in shaping New Hampshire’s most aggressive pro-gun legislation—including the state’s Constitutional Carry law and Second Amendment amnesty bill.

He’s a shooter, a hunter, and has a comprehensive understanding of the industry from both a legal and business perspective.

Sean’s experience is as real as it gets. He’s a competitive shooter, firearms instructor, and longtime Q user. In 2024, he was named to the Union Leader’s “40 Under 40” for his influential work defending the rights of New Hampshire citizens and firearms businesses across the country.
