Loss of Industry Veteran Sarah Leslie Patino

Sarah Leslie Patino, 54, of Chapin, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 due to a tragic car accident.
Leslie was a 20 year veteran of the firearm industry. Her career started many years ago at Ellett Brothers; and more recently with Chattanooga Shooting Supplies, Inc. Her dealer relationships spanned decades; and her love for the industry was infectious. We celebrate a magnificent life and morn the loss of a dear friend.

A Celebration of Life was held on Friday, July 30th at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home in Chapin, SC.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at 3647 J Dewey Gray Circle, Augusta, GA 30909.

“We are saddened by this tragedy and know Leslie’s kindness and sense of humor will be missed by many people, including her work family at Chattanooga Shooting Supplies,” said Ron Staffieri, President/CEO, CSSI.

As friends and family share favorite moments, most will remember her strong fight against cancer – twice; she never met a stranger and would often give money and food to those in need. One of her favorite quotes was, “Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out screaming WHOO HOO what a ride!” May we be inspired by the joy Leslie brought to everyone she met as well as her unwavering passion for life.
