Actor Nick Searcy (Justified, Castaway, From Earth to Moon) has signed with Ark Press to narrate the audiobook of international best-selling novelist Larry Correia’s upcoming Ark Press novel, American Paladin.

Searcy draws a parallel between Correia's heroes and the tough, morally driven characters in television series Justified, where he portrayed Chief?Deputy U.S.?Marshal Art?Mullen. “Larry’s novels are full of exciting action, banter, and bloodshed,” he says, “But they are also grounded in a strong, sensible moral code—a code that goes beyond mere legality and enters the realm of right and wrong.”

“Nick is legendary and super talented,” says Correia. “He brings gravitas, humor, and humanity to every role. I'm so looking forward to his interpretation of the book and Mike Spears as a character.”

American Paladin is book one in a new guns-and-monsters series from Ark Press featuring blue-collar vigilante Mike Spears, who takes on deadly paranormal and supernatural threats in the modern American west that the authorities won’t touch. Correia’s novels consistently top bestseller lists, including the Wall Street Journal and Entertainment Weekly. The audiobook will be available as part of a Kickstarter campaign in September 2025 and will be released with the novel in May 2026.
