EAGLE, CO -- QuietKat, a trailblazing brand in the outdoor adventure industry, is excited to announce the opening of the Channel Sales Manager position. This pivotal role presents a unique opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to spearhead the company's expansion into new business channels, particularly within the Military & Law Enforcement sectors.
The Channel Sales Manager will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategies to drive QuietKat's sales initiatives within these specialized spaces. This role demands a sales professional with a proven track record in cultivating and managing ongoing business relationships for premium brands across both existing and novel distribution channels.
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Channel Sales Manager will be stationed at QuietKat's headquarters in Eagle, Colorado. For those who meet the criteria, remote work options are also available, reflecting the company's commitment to a dynamic and flexible work environment.
As Channel Manager, your responsibilities will encompass:
·Work with Sales Manager to conceive, develop and execute new channel development initiatives for QuietKat
·Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts
·Build, maintain and manage relationships through day to day contact with existing and prospective customers
·Develop concise sales programs with VP and Sales Manager to grow business within new and existing channels
·Hire and manage a national network of rep agencies and distributors to support QuietKat’s growth
·Cultivate and maintain relationships with key buyers and rep agencies to further grow the business and to service QuietKat business at premium retailers.
·Attend select trade shows and sales meetings to actively communicate with customers and outside reps
·Work with the marketing and product development teams in the creation of products and programs (collateral, merchandising support, etc.) that support the organization’s channel development strategy
·Attend major law enforcement/government shows, seminars, and shooting events
·Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will exhibit:
·5+ years sales experience with at least 2 years’ experience in military, law enforcement or OGA sales
·Basic understanding of Federal government procurement process
·BA preferred or equivalent work experience
·An excellent understanding of sales distribution on a B2B level, experience with retailers, industry partners and sales rep agencies
·A clear understanding of forecasting, product planning, promotions, budgeting and retail math
·Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with the customer as well as develop strong, lasting relationships that ultimately lead to the development of new business
·Comfort dealing with all levels of an organization, from the inside sales organization, buyers and leadership
·Experience opening new channels
·Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
·NetSuite experience a plus
·Superior Analytical and listening skills
·Exemplary and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
·Precise attention to detail, multitasking, flexibility and a positive attitude
·Ability to think on your feet in a dynamic environment
·Commitment to being a team player
·Ability to deal with a wide range of personalities
The Salary Range for this role is $85,100 - $113,200 annually.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
Computer use up to 6 hours per day, ability to move boxes and products for trade show or other sales related events, lifting 40 pounds unassisted.
