Fishing for Creativity, Missouri State-Fish Art Contest Now Open

Springfield, MO- The Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium encourages young artists to enter the Missouri State-Fish Art Program. This free art contest is open to youth in Kindergarten to 12th grade. The last day to enter is March 31st, so start creating today!

The State-Fish Art Contest, with support from Title Sponsor Bass Pro Shops, is an international competition celebrating the importance of fish and aquatic conservation. Contestants have the opportunity to receive world-wide recognition and prizes while demonstrating their creativity through art and writing.

The 2020 State-Fish Art Contest offers two new award categories, the Fish Migration Award and the Guy Harvey Award. Details about awards categories, prizes, and guidelines can be found at www.StateFishArt.org

To enter, young artists create an original piece of artwork featuring any State-Fish from the “Official Fish List,” along with a one-page essay. Winners of the Missouri State-Fish Art Contest will receive a year-long subscription to the Guy Harvey Magazine ($24.95 value), (2) daily admission tickets to the Wonders of Wildlife Museum & Aquarium and a Certificate of Recognition.

All contestants from Missouri must use the Missouri-specific entry form and mail in their complete entry to:
