Hunter Safety System Continues as a Whitetails Unlimited National Sponsor

“Hunting safety has been an important part of our education mission since Whitetails Unlimited began, and we are proud that Hunter Safety System is continuing as a Whitetails Unlimited national sponsor,” said WTU President Jeff Schinkten. “Hunter Safety System is the industry leader in safety gear, products, and education, and together we will continue to promote the message of staying safe while hunting.”

Hunter Safety System was created more than two decades ago as a result of a relative’s fall from a tree stand. John and Jerry Wydner set out to develop and market an affordable, reliable, and well-made safety harness that would be comfortable enough for hunters to use every time they were in an elevated stand. Hunter Safety System now has multiple models of harnesses, including specific models for hanging stands, bow hunters, and crossbow hunters. They also have harnesses that are designed for women, harnesses that incorporate odor-control technology, and lifelines and accessories that make hunting safer.
