Celerant Launches Geo-Fencing in Mobile Apps to Turn Nearby Shoppers into Buyers
New functionality drives foot traffic and captures impulse purchases with real-time, location-based push notifications

This new feature allows businesses to automatically send push notifications to customers’ phones when they enter designated areas around their store or range, helping convert nearby shoppers into buyers.

With Celerant’s range apps, retailers with shooting ranges can now leverage geo-fencing alongside lane reservations, class and course scheduling and other range management tools. Dealers can send targeted notifications to customers when they’re nearby- alerting them to open lanes, upcoming classes, special events, or promotions- driving spontaneous visits and boosting participation.

Retailers can create multiple geo-fenced zones with adjustable radii around key locations, triggering personalized notifications with custom messaging whenever customers enter these areas. This enables specialty retailers to drive foot traffic, capture impulse purchases and reach customers at the exact moment they’re ready to take action.
