Team Beretta proudly celebrates a standout showing at the 2025 World FITASC Sporting Clays Championship in Kornos, Cyprus, with Connor Daniel capturing the World Junior Champion title, capping a season that now includes four world titles, and Joe Fanizzi securing a strong 4th-place finish in the Open division. Daniel posted an impressive 179/200 in the Junior division against the world’s best young competitors, while Fanizzi excelled in a stacked field of elite shooters from around the globe.
This milestone victory comes just weeks after Daniel also captured the 2025 Junior World English Sporting Clays title in England, further solidifying his status as one of the most dominant junior shooters on the international stage. As a member of the NSCA Junior USA Team, Daniel was a part of the squad that earned gold medals in both the World English Sporting Clays Championship and the World FITASC Championship team events. Combined with his two individual titles, Daniel’s 2025 season now includes four world titles.
"I am really pleased with my performances. Staying consistent and keeping my head in the game really paid off on some incredible targets”, says Connor Daniel. “Also having confidence in my Beretta DT11 knowing it is reliable and built for peak performance, allows me to focus on the competition. I am truly blessed to be a part of Team Beretta.”
Currently ranked No. 1 in the world among junior FITASC shooters (age 21 and under), Daniel has rapidly emerged as a rising force in the global shooting community. His latest achievement follows his recent signing with Georgia Southern University, where he will pursue a degree in Manufacturing Engineering while competing for the university’s Southern Clay Target Team, a four-time ACUI Divisional National Champion.
Also representing Team Beretta on the international stage, Joe Fanizzi earned 4th place in the Open division against a highly competitive international field. The 2025 World FITASC Championship featured 200 challenging targets across 8 parcours, drawing competitors from around the globe. With Daniel’s Junior World Champion title and Fanizzi’s top-five Open finish, Team Beretta once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the highest levels of competitive excellence.
“We are incredibly proud of Connor’s four world titles this season and Joe’s impressive top-five finish,” said Trang Dam, Director of Marketing at Beretta USA. “Connor continues to set the bar for the next generation of athletes, while Joe’s consistency and competitive drive keep him among the sport’s elite. Their passion, discipline, and sportsmanship reflect everything Team Beretta stands for, and we’re honored to support them both on and off the field.”
