As SCI continues to lead the global fight for hunters' rights and wildlife conservation, we are pleased to welcome Jeff Meyrel in his new role as President of SCI. Jeff brings with him a proven record of leadership, integrity, and a passion for SCI’s mission. His experience and commitment will be instrumental in guiding SCI’s efforts across the U.S. and globally.

This leadership transition was guided by a dedicated team, held earlier this month, where outgoing and incoming members of the Executive Committee gathered to ensure a smooth, unified handoff. The meeting focused on continuity of vision, strengthening SCI’s operational effectiveness, and reinforcing its global advocacy efforts.

“SCI is grateful to John McLaurin for his years of dedicated service and welcomes Jeff Meyrel and our new Executive Committee members as we continue to advance our mission,” said W. Laird Hamberlin, CEO of Safari Club International. “With this leadership team in place, we are well-positioned to expand our advocacy, strengthen our chapters, and promote sustainable wildlife conservation worldwide.”
