HELENA – The Private Land/Public Wildlife Advisory Committee will meet July 16 and 17 at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ Headquarters Office in Helena. The public is welcome to attend in person or through Zoom. The meeting can also be live-streamed or viewed at fwp.mt.gov/plpw. It will run from 1 to 5 p.m. on July 16 and from 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on July 17.?
Agenda items include an update on status of the Hunter-Landowner Stewardship Program and a presentation and discussion on landowner participation in FWP Hunting Access Programs.??
Appointed by the governor, the advisory committee is charged with reviewing FWP’s access programs and offering recommendations to help achieve program goals and maintaining good relations between hunters, anglers, landowners and outfitters.? ?
