In Friday's Outdoor Wire ("$10,000 awarded in 'TruckVault Cares' initiative"), it incorrectly stated that Quail Unlimited, the now-defunct conservation organization, was absorbed by Quail Forever. A division of Pheasants Forever, Quail Forever did receive an endorsement from Quail Unlimited as that group folded which recognized Quail Forever as the largest and strongest voice going forward for quail conservation. And though Quail Forever did purchase Quail Unlimited's membership list - in hopes of contacting quail conservationists nationwide and urging them to join Quail Forever's wildlife habitat conservation efforts - the deal did not constitute a merger or acquisition, nor did Quail Forever assume any of Quail Unlimited's debt or any other financial standings.
