Arkansas State Parks invited members of the media to an exclusive Media Field Trip on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 10 a.m., at Pinnacle Mountain State Park to experience the transformative impact of the Trackchair initiative.
This event offered a hands-on opportunity to see the Trackchair in action, meet users who benefit from this technology, and heard their personal stories about the importance of accessibility in outdoor recreation.

Arkansas State Parks is committed to expanding accessibility across the state. In 2024, we launched the Trackchair program at Logoly State Park, making it our first park to offer this service. To use the Action Trackchair, participants must complete an online training session and review the “Action Trackchair Owner’s Manual.” The User Agreement emphasizes personal responsibility and safe handling of the equipment.
The launch event included a live demonstration of the Action Trackchair, showcasing its capabilities and allowing attendees to see how it opens new possibilities for park exploration.
