RFID is a wireless system comprising tags and readers; the reader’s antennas emit radio waves and receive signals back from the RFID tag.

The Hornady Security RAPiD Safes use RFID to provide the quickest, most dependable access to firearms and valuables while keeping them protected from unauthorized users. Simply place the included RFID watchband, key fob, or decal over the safe’s reader for instant entry. For added flexibility and convenience, RAPiD AR Gunlocker also features a four-digit electronic keypad and circular barrel keys for backup access.
