GRITR Range, an advanced DFW shooting range and training facility, invites gun owners to join their upcoming Texas License to Carry (LTC) class scheduled for Saturday, August 30 (8 AM - 4 PM) at their North Richland Hills location.

Obtaining a Texas License to Carry comes with numerous advantages, including reciprocity with over 30 states (allowing you to legally conceal carry your firearm across these states), enhanced access to public venues, exemption from background checks when purchasing firearms, and comprehensive legal self-defense protections.

The in-person LTC class at GRITR Range will be led by a Texas DPS Certified Instructor. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive their official License to Carry Handgun Training Certificate (Form LTC-104).

The program includes the following elements:

• Classroom Instruction (4-6 Hours): Interactive presentations and group discussions covering critical topics, including firearm safety protocols, legal framework, marksmanship fundamentals, self-defense decision-making, conflict de-escalation techniques, and proper firearm storage and maintenance practices.
• Written Exam: Students must pass a written exam to demonstrate comprehension of the course material.
• Range Test: A practical shooting test involves firing 50 rounds at a human-shaped silhouette at 3, 7, and 15 yards.

Additionally, GRITR Range now offers an Online LTC class, allowing students to complete the classroom portion remotely.

Please Note: This course assumes basic firearm proficiency. Participants must be comfortable handling their handgun prior to enrollment.
