(Plymouth, MN) — On the opening day of Game Fair, August 10 in Anoka, Minn., Outdoor News and Kinetic Performance Dog Food proudly announced the winner of the 2018 Huntin’ Buddy Photo Contest. Rich Viskere’s excellent photo of his hunting dog, Trigger, won the contest’s grand prize. The annual contest encourages bird dog enthusiasts to submit a photo of their hunting dog in action afield.

Dave Dourson and John Howard, owners of Kinetic Performance Dog Food, were on hand to meet Viskere at Game Fair, which is an outdoors gathering that brings families together with hunting dog events, shotgunning, archery and outdoor seminars. The 2018 show runs through Sunday, August 19. Viskere’s winning entry earned his sporting companion, Trigger, a year’s supply of dog food from Kinetic. 

Viskere also was introduced to the new line of canine performance supplements that Kinetic Performance Dog Food unveiled at Game Fair. In addition to the grand prize photo, two additional contest entries received honorable mention. Photos by Kelly Petricka of dog Trigger in action on a pheasant rooster, and Mary Paul’s photo of her dog, Ellie, qualified as outstanding submissions from the pool of entries for the 2018 Huntin Buddy Contest.
