Wixom, MI – Trijicon®, Inc., a global provider of innovative aiming solutions for the hunting, shooting, military, and law enforcement markets, is pleased to announce the availability of its popular RMR® Type 2 Adjustable LED Green Dot reflex sight in a new Coyote Brown anodized finish. This latest addition combines the distinctive finish with the proven design and performance of one of the industry's most trusted miniature reflex sights.
Made in the USA, the Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) is constructed from forged 7075-T6 aluminum and features a patented housing shape that absorbs impacts and diverts stresses away from the lens. Weighing just 1.2 ounces, the compact optic has earned a reputation for dependable performance among military personnel, law enforcement professionals, and civilian shooters.
The RMR Type 2 Green Dot features a highly visible 3.25 MOA green aiming point that takes advantage of the human eye's natural sensitivity to green wavelengths. The vivid reticle provides excellent contrast in bright daylight and against complex backgrounds, allowing for fast, both-eyes-open target acquisition.
Engineered for demanding conditions, the RMR Type 2 features upgraded electronics and battery contacts designed to withstand heavy recoil. Button Lock Out Mode prevents accidental brightness adjustments, while Battery Conservation Mode automatically adjusts the aiming dot to ambient lighting conditions after 16.5 hours without a button press. A single CR2032 battery provides up to two years of continuous operation at a mid-setting.
