C&H Precision Weapons has launched the ERD-MAX Enclosed Rifle Dot, the next evolution in duty-ready red dot optics, built for rifles, PCCs, and PDWs. A 30mm objective lens, enclosed emitter, and crystal-clear glass deliver rapid target acquisition and strong situational awareness.
The optic is built on a lightweight, CNC machined, one-piece 6061-T6 aluminum body rated to withstand +P, +P+, 5.56, and .308 recoil. It is shockproof and rated for all rifle ammunition, and its IPX7 waterproof rating allows submersion in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.
The ERD-MAX is a 1x optic that is parallax free at 100 yards, with a 2 MOA dot and a multi-reticle that adds a 22 MOA circle. Windage and elevation adjust in 1 MOA clicks, with 45 MOA of adjustment range and 90 MOA total. Ten brightness settings include two night vision compatible levels. Motion control wakes the optic when it senses movement and puts it to sleep after five minutes without movement. A single CR2032 3V lithium battery provides up to 50,000 hours of battery life, and the optic weighs approximately 283 grams with the battery installed.
