Women for Gun Rights Celebrates Landmark National Summit in Washington, D.C.

More than 120 attendees unite for three days of advocacy, education and public action

Women for Gun Rights celebrated a major milestone with its successful Inaugural 2026 National Summit, bringing together more than 120 attendees for three days of celebration, training and advocacy in the nation's capital. Featuring a Gala, Capitol rally and White House briefing, the Summit showcased the organization's growing voice and equipped advocates to carry that momentum into their home states.

Among the Summit's most powerful moments were public recitations of the Second Amendment at Union Station, the White House and the U.S. Capitol. From a flash mob at Union Station to standing before legislators and tourists at the Capitol, attendees brought their message directly into public view—demonstrating the power of women standing together for their rights.

"If we intend to shape public opinion, then we have to be more intentional about being seen…and heard…in public," said Dianna Muller, founder of Women for Gun Rights. "The flash mob at Union Station and reciting the Second Amendment at the Capitol in front of legislators and tourists alike was a pretty moving experience!"

The inaugural National Summit Gala celebrated a decade of Women for Gun Rights and the people who helped build the movement. ATF Director Robert Cekada joined Michelle Waterson-Gomez and Vanessa Rosa for a featured panel moderated by Cheryl Todd of Gun Freedom Radio, highlighting the perspectives and voices helping shape the future of Second Amendment advocacy.

On Sunday morning, the Leadership Institute provided advocacy training to strengthen attendees' skills and confidence in speaking up for their rights. That afternoon, an energized rally at the Capitol put those voices into action. Monday featured a White House briefing and opportunities to engage on Capitol Hill, where attendees heard from Representatives Andrew Clyde (GA), Pat Harrigan (NC), and Mark Haridopolos (FL).

Women for Gun Rights thanks Director Cekada, the Leadership Institute, participating members of Congress, Gala panelists, rally speakers and all presenters. The organization also recognizes the sponsors, volunteers and attendees whose commitment made this landmark Summit a success.
