Whitetails Unlimited Grants $20,000 to Fish & Wildlife Agencies Conference

A $20,000 grant was awarded to the Southeastern Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies (SEAFWA) conference that took place in New Orleans, Louisiana. The conference brought together law enforcement officers, command staff, and wildlife officers from 16 southeastern states. The SEAFWA law enforcement committee serves as the regional forum for professional collaboration among state wildlife law enforcement divisions. This includes enforcement strategies, training initiatives, and resource protection efforts. This effort strengthens coordination across the Southeast's fish and wildlife agencies.

Whitetails Unlimited's HOPE for Wildlife Program initiatives create partnerships with state and federal agencies to acquire land, improve and maintain critical habitat for deer and other wildlife, and increase public hunting opportunities. Supporting law enforcement in the reduction of poaching and other anti-poaching efforts is also a main priority of the program.
