Crewkerne, England — SHIELD Sights is proud to congratulate Team SHIELD's Robin Grauffel on an outstanding performance at the Pan American Handgun Championship, where he secured 1st Place Junior and 5th Place Overall against a world-class field of competitors.
Competing alongside some of the biggest names in practical shooting, Grauffel finished at 93.62% of overall winner JJ Racaza, demonstrating the speed, precision, and consistency required to compete at the highest level of international IPSC competition.
Taking the Junior title while finishing fifth overall is another significant achievement for Grauffel and highlights his continued development as one of the sport's emerging young competitors. His ability to challenge established athletes at the top of the overall standings represents exactly what Team SHIELD is about: ambition, dedication, and performing when it matters most.
Competitive shooting has been part of SHIELD Sights' DNA since the earliest days of the company. Working alongside elite competitors provides an opportunity not only to support the sport, but to continually prove SHIELD optics in an environment where speed, reliability, and performance are tested on every stage.
Grauffel's performance at the Pan American Handgun Championship adds another impressive result to Team SHIELD's 2026 competition season and demonstrates the continued presence of SHIELD-equipped athletes at the highest levels of international practical shooting.
At SHIELD Sights, we believe the best optics earn their reputation on the range, not in the catalog. Congratulations to Robin and every competitor who represented the sport with professionalism and determination. We look forward to seeing you on the next stage.
