Team Carbon Express Returns to The International Market; Carbon Express Signs World Cup Champion Lisell Jäätma

Estonian compound star joins the team after a breakthrough Shanghai gold

Carbon Express is proud to announce the signing of Estonian compound archer Lisell Jäätma as a sponsored athlete, for the 2027 Season.

Jäätma is coming off a standout 2026 season. In May she won her first individual Hyundai Archery World Cup gold in Shanghai, defeating world number one Andrea Becerra 145-144 in the final. She added mixed team bronze with her brother Robin at the same event and has qualified for the World Cup Final in Saltillo, Mexico. The result earned her the World Games' Athlete of the Month title for May 2026.

The win capped a determined comeback. After a break from competition following the 2025 World Championships, Jäätma returned to international archery in January 2026. She has also won silver at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu.

Jäätma is especially accomplished indoors. She is a multiple Sud de France Nîmes champion, has won the Berlin Open, and has stood on the podium at the Indoor World Cup in Chicago. She holds an Estonian national compound record of 709 points. As a mixed team with Robin, she has won European Games and Universiade gold and European Championship silver.

"Lisell brings a strong female archer to the Carbon Express family of Professional Shooters and an international star to help launch our International Pro Staff Team" said Erik Bramble Pro Staff Manager, Carbon Express.

Lisell has already used her Carbon Express Nano Pro RZ in the World Cup Championships just a few weeks ago in Mexico.

Jäätma will compete with our Nano Pro RZ for outdoor competition along with Maxima XL and Tank lines of Indoor arrows.

About Lisell Jäätma: Born 19 July 1999 in Estonia, Jäätma is one of Europe's leading compound archers. She trains with her brother Robin under their parents and coaches, Maarika and Erki Jäätma.
