Out Da' Bayou has launched on Field & Stream TV, taking viewers deep into the heart of Louisiana's outdoors, where world-class fishing, hunting, and Cajun culture come together in every episode.
Hosted by John Jackson, the series follows the adventures, food and people that make South Louisiana one of the most unique places on earth. Episodes range from inshore and offshore fishing for Louisiana's finest to hunts for waterfowl, deer, and the state's unique game, then follow the day's harvest into the kitchens, camps, and backyard boils where great food brings people together.
Along the way, Out Da' Bayou introduces viewers to the seasoned guides, commercial fishermen, hard-working families and local legends who keep Louisiana's outdoor traditions alive. From hidden bayous and marshes to legendary waterways and historic small towns, each episode captures the bayou's sights, sounds, and flavors, and a way of life built on faith, family, freedom, and the outdoors.
The series is part of the Cajun Lifestyle Network, The Louisiana Lifestyle Channel, which delivers fishing, hunting, cooking, and culture programming rooted in the traditions of South Louisiana.
