Carbon Express Pro-Staff Archer Earns Team Gold at World Field Championship.
SUPERIOR, WI – World Archery hosted the World Field Championship in Yankton, SD September 22nd – 27th. Several Team Carbon Express Shooters took to this event to earn their chance at a world championship.
Notable finishes include Ryan Davis the Team USA Barebow Shooter. Ryan took the top qualifying spot for Team USA placing him on the USA Team of Ryan Davis (Barebow), Brady Ellison (Recurve), and Gaius Carter (Compound). Team USA was able to claim Gold.
Ryan Davis was shooting Nano Pro X-Treme arrows for this World Championship. The teams were level from the second target onwards, forcing a shoot-off at the final target, where the crane-mounted target was lowered to a more familiar height. The USA's opener arrow was sent by Davis, shooting barebow, delivered a superb six, which his teammates followed with a six and a five to secure the gold. It was perhaps the arrow of the day under pressure. "Th only thing going through my mind was to trust the process and finish strong. For the shoot-off, all I could do was control the controllable, which was my next arrow," Davis said. Davis trusted his Nano Pro X-Tremes to lead him to the victory.
The Nano Pro was engineered for archers demanding ultimate precision and consistency. Featuring Carbon Express' laser-sorted spine technology and weight-matched construction, the Nano Pro is built to deliver repeatable performance shot after shot under the most demanding competition conditions.
Davis is no stranger to podiums and Carbon Express is proud to have him on the team. Ryan has won USA Archery Indoor Nationals, Finished 2nd at the Team Trials and now add a world Championship while shooting Carbon Express. We look forward to continued growth and making Carbon Express the shaft of choice for Barebow.
