The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) and Infinite Outdoors are highlighting the potential impact of their Access Granted partnership, which has generated $92,805 year-to-date in 2026, representing the potential to establish access to approximately 185,610 acres of previously difficult-to-reach or landlocked public land.
The announcement comes as MDF and Infinite Outdoors wrap up the Access. Adventure. Legacy campaign celebrating Public Lands Month. The campaign encouraged hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts to invest in the future of public lands, wildlife habitat, and outdoor access while highlighting the ongoing impact of the Access Granted Initiative.
Through the partnership, funds raised throughout the year are supporting conservation efforts focused on habitat restoration, wildlife corridors, and expanding access to landlocked and difficult-to-reach public lands. Infinite Outdoors works with private landowners to establish legal access routes, creating new opportunities for outdoor recreation while respecting landowner rights and stewardship.
"Public lands are one of America's greatest shared resources, and protecting them requires all of us," said Greg Sheehan, President and CEO of the Mule Deer Foundation. "The support we've seen throughout the year demonstrates that hunters, conservationists, and outdoor enthusiasts are willing to invest in the places and wildlife that make our outdoor heritage possible. We're grateful to everyone who has contributed and to Infinite Outdoors for helping turn that support into meaningful conservation and access opportunities."
As part of the Access Granted partnership, qualifying MDF members and supporters also received a complimentary one-year Infinite Outdoors Access+ membership, connecting them with outdoor opportunities available through Infinite Outdoors' growing network of private landowners and expanded access points across the country.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to conservation, access, and preserving outdoor traditions for future generations. By connecting fundraising with opportunities to get outside, the Access Granted Initiative demonstrates how conservation and access can work together to benefit wildlife, habitat, landowners, hunters, and other outdoor enthusiasts.
"Partnerships like this show what is possible when conservation organizations, businesses, landowners, and outdoor enthusiasts work together," said Sam Seeton, CEO of Infinite Outdoors. "We're proud to work alongside the Mule Deer Foundation and support the people who are investing in the future of our public lands and outdoor heritage."
Funds generated through the Access Granted Initiative will support conservation work across key landscapes in the West, helping improve wildlife habitat, strengthen migration and movement corridors, and advance opportunities for legal public land access. These investments benefit mule deer, black-tailed deer, and hundreds of other wildlife species while helping ensure that future generations can experience the landscapes and outdoor traditions that define the American West.
As demand for public lands continues to grow, partnerships that invest in both conservation and access are increasingly important. Access Granted provides a way for outdoor enthusiasts to contribute directly to that effort while helping create the potential for greater access to public lands.
