Wisconsin teen, the first woman to win the Championship Compound Young Adult title in Las Vegas, joins the Carbon Express professional shooting team
Carbon Express is proud to announce that Chloe Nelsen, the 2026 Vegas Shoot Championship Compound Young Adult champion, has joined its professional shooting team.
At 16, Nelsen made history at the 60th anniversary Vegas Shoot, becoming the first woman to win the Championship Compound Young Adult division. In her first year shooting the Championship division, the Wisconsin archer beat three men in the shootdown. The win came about two months after she took the Youth Female Open title at the Lancaster Archery Classic.
Nelsen started shooting at age 9 and credits her father, Andy, for his dedication and influence on her path. Her résumé includes a 900 at the Rushmore Rumble, where she won the young adult title, and 120 Xs at indoor nationals.
"Chloe Nelsen is an amazing shooters and we welcome her to the Carbon Express Family. Chloe shot the Maxima XLs for the ASA Season this past year and had amazing results. She also set a world record at the JOAD Nationals with the Nano Pro RZ. It was clearly a no brainer for Carbon Express to not sigh the next great star in the Women's Compound World." said Erik Bramble Pro Staff Manager, Carbon Express.
Nelsen will shoot Carbon Express arrows for the 2027 season at indoor nationals, ASA, 2027 Vegas Shoot and much more. You can follow Chloe on social mead under @chloe_nelsen_archery
