Whitetails Unlimited announces its continued support of Tree Stand Safety Awareness Month, in partnership with the Tree Stand Safety Awareness Foundation (TSSA). Created to enhance the focus on tree stand safety and reduce tree stand incidents, Tree Stand Safety Awareness Month will take place throughout the month of September. "We're proud to partner with the TSSA to promote Tree Stand Safety Awareness Month," said WTU President Jeff Schinkten. "With bowhunting just around the corner, it's an ideal time for hunters to review tree stand safety."
The TSSA outlines four building blocks of tree stand safety when hunting from a tree stand, called the ABCs of tree stand safety. Whether you're an experienced hunter or a person just becoming interested in bowhunting, the TSSA and Whitetails Unlimited encourages you to review these safety tips before heading out in the woods this season.
