September 26, 2026, marks the 54th National Hunting and Fishing Day, a day that recognizes generations of sportsmen and women for their contributions to the conservation of our nation's rich sporting heritage and natural resources. NHFD occurs the fourth Saturday of September and seeks to not only acknowledge sportsmen and women, but also to encourage participation and increase public awareness of the connection between hunting, angling, and conservation.
Whitetails Unlimited is proud to recognize the over 55 million sportsmen and women that have raised more than $57 billion for conservation. "Today, and every day, we celebrate these sportsmen and women who continue to support conservation," said WTU President Jeff Schinkten. "It is largely thanks to them that we all have the opportunity to continue to enjoy the outdoors."
