Team Beretta athlete Cameron Templin claimed first place in the Limited Optics division at the 2026 North Texas Open, adding another major-match victory to his 2026 competition season.
Held September 4 - 6 at Extreme Tactics and Training Solutions in Waxahachie, Texas, the Kimber 2026 North Texas Open brought top practical shooting competitors together for a challenging USPSA competition. Templin delivered a strong performance throughout the match to secure the Limited Optics division win, competing with the Beretta 92X Performance.
The victory continues a standout 2026 season for Templin, who has consistently delivered top-level performances on the national competition circuit. Earlier this year, Templin earned third-place finishes in both Carry Optics and Limited Optics at the 2026 World Speed Shooting Championship. He is a four-time Grand Master in USPSA and Steel Challenge competition.

Templin's success adds another win to an increasingly strong season for Team Beretta's competition team as the 2026 USPSA season moves toward its national-level events. The 2026 USPSA Factory Gun Nationals are scheduled for September 16–20 in Hurricane, Utah.
