One Horse, the veteran-owned and family-owned American firearms manufacturer, begins a 24-hour Labor Day sale Monday on both models in its suppressor line, discounting each by $100 and including a co-branded Sukon Performance Heat Cover with every order.
The ASHE 5.56/.223 is priced at $399.99, down from $499.99, and the RYN .30 caliber at $499.99, down from $599.99. Each order ships with a Sukon Performance Heat Cover sized to the suppressor purchased, an accessory that retails separately for $119.99. Sale pricing ends at the close of the holiday.
"We built the RYN and the ASHE because shooters were being asked to pick between a can that performs and a can that doesn't wreck the balance of the rifle," One Horse CEO Jeremy Hammons said. "Labor Day belongs to the people who build things for a living, and that's who we are. For 24 hours, we're putting our best work in front of them at our best price."
Both suppressors are welded from Grade 5 titanium and finished in hardcoat Cerakote. The ASHE weighs 5.4 ounces, measures 6 inches and is purpose-built for modern AR-15 platforms. The RYN weighs 6.4 ounces, measures 6.7 inches and is rated for .30 caliber, with internal testing across .308, 300 Blackout, 5.56, 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5 Grendel in both supersonic and subsonic loads. Each measures 1.5 inches in diameter and is HUB compatible at 1.375x24.
In company testing, the ASHE cut muzzle sound by 23.5 to 24.2 decibels and ear-level sound by 18.7 to 21.2 dB across 10.3-inch and 14.5-inch 5.56 carbines. The RYN cut muzzle sound by 23.5 dB on a 20-inch .308 rifle, and paired with subsonic 300 Blackout it brought ear-level sound down to 133.5 dB, the lowest reading in the company's test set. Each suppressor in the sale ships ready to mount. The Plan B hub mount is installed and torqued to spec before the unit leaves Brownstown, and the Pyke Three Prong muzzle device, which provides the quick-detach interface, arrives hand-tightened into the hub. From there the Pyke threads onto the host rifle and the suppressor locks onto the Pyke.
The included Sukon Performance Heat Covers come in 6-inch and 6.5-inch lengths for the ASHE and RYN respectively, in black or coyote brown, and carry both companies' marks. A Kevlar outer shell surrounds carbon-fiber and silica insulation rated to 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit, and a cord-laced retention system holds the cover in position through high-tempo strings of fire. At roughly 0.56 ounces per inch, the cover adds little weight while cutting the heat mirage that distorts a sight picture during sustained shooting and keeping a hot suppressor off hands, optics and gear. Hammons said the partnership was a natural one. "Sukon was started by two Special Forces guys who solve the same problems we do, from the other end of the rifle," he said. "Their covers are the ones our people already run. Pairing them isn't a marketing exercise. It's what the setup should have looked like all along."
