Firefield Introduces Verge Binocular Line for Practical, Budget-Focused Field Use

MANSFIELD, TEXAS – Firefield has released the new Verge binocular lineup, offering dependable optical performance for hunters and outdoor users who want functional glass without premium pricing. Available in 8x42 and 10x42 configurations, the Verge series is designed for scouting, glassing, and general outdoor observation where reliability matters more than luxury features.

Both models are built around fully multicoated optics and BK7 roof prisms, delivering usable brightness and contrast in mixed lighting conditions. A durable polycarbonate housing keeps weight down to 20.5 ounces while standing up to routine field abuse. With an IPX4 water-resistance rating, the Verge binoculars handle light rain and rough handling without issue.

The Verge 8x42 prioritizes image stability and situational awareness. Its 8x magnification and wide 340-foot field of view at 1,000 yards make it well suited for tracking movement in timber, scanning ridgelines, or glassing over uneven terrain. A generous 17.6mm eye relief and twist-up eyecups support long viewing sessions, including for users wearing glasses.

The Verge 10x42 offers increased reach for open country and long-range observation. With 10x magnification and a 303-foot field of view at 1,000 yards, it provides tighter detail for spotting game or terrain features at distance while remaining manageable for handheld use. Eye relief measures 13.6mm, paired with twist-up eyecups for consistent eye placement.

Both models feature a center-focus system with internal focusing lenses to keep debris out of the housing, along with a close-focus distance of 5 meters for transitioning quickly between distant glassing and nearby detail.

The Firefield Verge binoculars are aimed at entry-level hunters, budget-conscious outdoor users, youth hunters, and first-time buyers who want straightforward optics that work as expected in real field conditions.
