Competition to take place Sept. 25–27 at Staccato Ranch Vegas
Staccato 2011®, the creator of the 2011® pistol platform and a leading developer of precision firearms, ammunition and shooting facilities, today announced that elite SWAT teams from more than a dozen U.S. states have registered for the 2026 Staccato National SWAT Championship, presented by Trijicon®. Taking place Sept. 25–27 at Staccato Ranch Vegas in Pahrump, Nevada, the championship will bring together up to 60 of the nation's most elite law enforcement teams for three days of rigorous tactical competition.
Registered teams represent law enforcement agencies from across the country, including sheriff's offices, municipal SWAT teams and federal agencies from states including California, Texas, Nevada, Florida, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, North Carolina, Delaware, New Mexico, Louisiana and Wisconsin, among others. A limited number of registration spots remain open.
The championship is a three-day assessment of SWAT teams' shooting proficiency, physical agility and tactical acumen. Teams will compete across twelve main stages and five individual side stages, with the event culminating in a four-stage, head-to-head championship finale.
A $150,000 prize pool is on the line, with the top five finishing teams earning cash awards and the championship team taking home $50,000 to fund their unit's equipment and training needs. Additionally, every competitor will walk away with gear from the $50,000-plus prize table.
The competition will be hosted by Staccato Ranch Vegas at its Staccato Vegas Special Operations Training Campus (SVSOTC), a purpose-built training destination set in the high desert just west of Las Vegas. The campus features immersive, configurable scenario zones that challenge decision-making and tactical execution under pressure, providing the ideal setting for the nation's most demanding law enforcement competition.
