This episode takes Keith Warren and Johnny Piazza to South Texas, where they will be joined by Cody Hartke of Bering Optics and his son Hayden on a thermal hog hunt.
First, Keith Warren puts the Bering Optics clip-on unit to the test, mounting the unit to his daytime Vortex Optics Scope. Keith uses the unit to take down the first hog of the trip with a perfect shot from his Shaw Excursion, chambered in 300 WM. Then, Keith takes Cody and Hayden out in the pitch-black darkness to spot and stalk hogs as they wreak havoc on the local feral hog population.
Keith, Cody, Hayden, and Johnny move through the property, find multiple sounders of hogs, and take out as many as they can. During the adventure, The High Road team not only gathers great content for viewers and sponsors but puts a nice little dent in the destructive feral hog population. With a successful corporate hog hunt completed, Cody and Hayden head home with a variety of content creation opportunities for Bering Optics and some great memories.
To wrap up the episode, Johnny Piazza goes out on his own to test out the Bering Optics Hogster MVPO thermal scope on hogs. Johnny lines up on pigs for the perfect double vitals shot, taking out two pigs with one shot using Berger Bullets. Johnny closes out the episode, putting a cap on another successful content creation endeavor for The High Road.
