The event was held August 5th – 8th 2026 at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio.
World-class precision shooters, top brands in the industry, along with the airgun community descended on the Cardinal Shooting Center range for this world-class competition, and their chances at incredible prizes. SIGHTRON ambassadors, Migel and Pepin, competed in the Mag-Fed PCP division in the Gunslyner competition which is a fast-draw, bracket-style competition that combines speed and accuracy for a fun and challenging event. Competitors that are paired up against each other must knock down the designated targets (standard 1/10 scale NRA Chicken, Pig, Turkey and Ram targets) at varying distances in the shortest time possible. Targets ranged from 25 to 55 yards.
Both Migel and Pepin utilized SIGHTRON's S-TAC 1-6x24 AR1 Riflescope with new illuminated AR1 second-focal-plane reticle. The S-TAC meets IPX7 waterproof standards and is nitrogen charged to prevent fogging of the interior glass elements, even when moving from a warm car to sub-zero temps. The exclusive ExacTrack erector tube system delivers consistent, reliable, and repeatable adjustments, even at the extreme edges of the scope's adjustments. This means 1/4 MOA click values are the same at 50 MOA up or down as they are at center zero.
