Throughout his career, he has gained hands-on experience through seasonal wildlife research positions focused on species including bobwhite quail, elk, and wild turkeys across Texas, Colorado, and Oklahoma.
A passionate photographer and storyteller, Richards uses his camera and writing to communicate the importance of wildlife research, habitat conservation, natural resource management, and the outdoor traditions that connect people to the land.
