GunBroker.com, through Collector's Elite Auctions and in partnership with Bryant Ridge, today announced the second Kimber Vault Collection. The collection features 200 Kimber firearms with documented connections to the company's history, including factory show guns and firearms preserved within private company archives.
The firearms are accompanied by Kimber factory documentation detailing their origins, configurations and factory designations, with select examples documenting their history within the Kimber Vault.
Among the collection are a Kimber Micro 9 Rosewood and a Kimber K6xs RTC, both documented by Kimber as official factory show guns. Also included is a Kimber LAPD SWAT Custom II documented as having been retained within the personal holdings of Leslie Edelman, founder and owner of Kimber Firearms.
Kimber Factory Show Guns
The Kimber Micro 9 Rosewood, serial number SCB0066711, is chambered in 9mm and features a satin stainless finish and Rosewood grips. Its Kimber Factory Letter identifies the pistol as an official factory show gun. The original box carries the handwritten designation "Show Gun Cut FP 2024." Factory documentation states that the firearm was released from the Kimber Vault on Feb. 6, 2026.
The Kimber K6xs RTC, serial number XS000468, is chambered in .38 Special +P. Kimber documentation identifies the revolver as an official factory show gun for industry events. Its original factory box carries the designation "Show Gun Cut FP 2023."
The two firearms represent different examples of Kimber products that were retained for use in presenting the company and its products at industry events.
Kimber Firearm From Private Company Holdings
The collection also includes a Kimber LAPD SWAT Custom II, serial number KLA114152. The full-size .45 ACP 1911 features a 5-inch match-grade barrel, matte black finish, Meprolight three-dot tritium sights and factory synthetic grips.
Its factory documentation identifies the firearm as part of Edelman's personal holdings and records its subsequent release from the Kimber Vault on Feb. 6, 2026.
"Factory documentation provides information that goes beyond the specifications of a firearm," said Andrew Lawhorn of Bryant Ridge. "In this collection, the documentation establishes why certain Kimber firearms were retained, including their use as factory show guns and their connection to Kimber's private company archives. That provenance provides additional historical context for collectors."
