Friends of NRA Grant Applications Are Now Open

Each year, funds raised through Friends of NRA events provide critical resources to support grants at the national, state, and local levels. These grants help organizations across the country create opportunities that promote firearms safety, strengthen shooting sports programs, and educate communities about the rich history and tradition of responsible firearms ownership.

Friends of NRA Grants fund activities and programs that:

  • Promote firearms and hunting safety
  • Enhance marksmanship skills for those participating in the shooting sports
  • Educate the public about firearms in their historic, technological, and artistic context

Is Your Program Eligible?

If your organization is working to support youth education, shooting sports, hunter education, firearms training, range development, conservation, or other qualifying initiatives, your project may be eligible for a Friends of NRA grant.

Organizations interested in applying are encouraged to review the grant requirements and determine if their program aligns with the mission of Friends of NRA grants.

Whether you are looking to purchase equipment, expand an educational program, improve a facility, or provide new opportunities for participants, Friends of NRA grants help turn ideas into impactful programs in communities across the country.

Local Support. Lasting Impact.

Friends of NRA grants are made possible because of the dedication of volunteers, donors, sponsors, and supporters who come together at local Friends of NRA events. The funds raised through these events are reinvested to help strengthen programs that promote safety, education, and participation in the shooting sports.

For more than three decades, Friends of NRA volunteers have worked alongside communities nationwide to ensure future generations have opportunities to learn, compete, and participate in the shooting sports.
