Akenhead delivered a stellar performance with her rugged Ruger American® Rifle Gen II chambered in 6mm Creedmoor.
"The Hornady Precision Rifle Challenge was an outstanding match that tested every aspect of precision rifle shooting, from positional shooting to changing wind conditions. It was a challenging but rewarding course of fire, and I really enjoyed competing against such a talented field of shooters," stated Akenhead. "For the match, I used an American Gen II chambered in 6mm Creedmoor in an MDT ACC Premier Gen 2 chassis. Throughout the match, I relied on Hornady's 4DOF app for all of my ballistic data, which gave me complete confidence from stage to stage."
Competing against a talented field of precision rifle shooters, Akenhead demonstrated exceptional marksmanship, consistency and confidence throughout the match. Navigating challenging stages with precision and efficiency, she secured the Top Lady title, relying on the accuracy and reliability of the American Gen II rifle.
