Team Mathews Sweeps Men's Podium at 2026 NFAA Field Championship

Team Mathews delivered a commanding performance at the 2026 NFAA Outdoor National Field Championships in Yankton, South Dakota, sweeping the Men's Freestyle Professional podium with Team Shooters Bodie Turner claiming the national title, Kyle Douglas finishing second, and Chris Perkins securing third.

Leading the charge was Turner, who not only secured the championship but also set a new NFAA record. Turner produced an incredible 668, breaking his own NFAA National Field Round record of 660, which he set back in 2022. His historic performance also set a new X-count record, punching 108 X's out of a possible 112 to cap off one of the most dominant rounds in NFAA history.

"The NFAA Field Championship continues to be the ultimate test for archers across challenging field courses that demand precision, consistency, and versatility," said Derek Phillips, Mathews Prostaff Manager. "The team once again proved its ability to perform under pressure, delivering a clean sweep against many of the nation's best archers."

The podium sweep underscores Turner's historic finish and Team Mathews' continued dominance at the highest levels of competitive archery. The team will be traveling to Cullman, Alabama this weekend to compete in the ASA Classic with hopes to capitalize on the momentum from this victory.
