San Antonio, Texas – Blaser USA proudly congratulates Team Blaser shooter, Ed Smith on winning the 2026 NSSA US Open High Overall (HOA) Champion, one of the most prestigious titles in American Skeet. Smith delivered an outstanding performance, earning both the HOA Champion with a near perfect 399/400 and HAA Champion with a 499/500. He also finished as the Doubles Runner-up, with a perfect 100 straight.
The 2026 NSSA U.S. Open Championships were held June 26-28 by the National Skeet Shooting Association's as a satellite shoot, with competitors participating simultaneously at 18 host clubs across the country.
Competing against many of the nation's top shooters, Smith delivered an exceptional performance throughout the championship, demonstrating the consistency, focus, and precision required to claim the coveted High Overall title.
"This weekend was a huge accomplishment. My F3 performed flawlessly – smooth, consistent and has the best trigger in any shotgun I've ever shot! Putting together strong performances across all five events was a great way to kick off the rest of the season," said Team Blaser's Ed Smith.
Team Blaser continued to deliver impressive performances throughout the events where Caile Bradham was the 12 Gauge Champion and Rachel Barringer was the Ladies 12 Gauge Runner-Up.
