Leupold Adds New Illuminated Reticle Options to Mark 4HD Family of Riflescopes

Leupold & Stevens, Inc., provider of the world's most rugged, lightweight, and clear sport optics, is pleased to announce the arrival of three new reticles to its Mark 4HD family of riflescopes. The award-winning Mark 4HD will now be available in Illum. PR2-MOA, Illum. PR2-MIL, and Illum. PR3-MIL reticles in both 6-24x52 and 8-32x56 configurations.

No matter what the use-case, the Mark 4HD's optical clarity, lightweight design, and rugged reliability gets the job done. The Mark 4HD family features a 4:1 zoom ratio and five magnification ranges, providing you with a solution that will dominate in competition, on a hunt in the backcountry, and on the battlefield. The new line extension marks the first time that Leupold's popular PR2-MOA, PR2-MIL, and PR3-MIL reticles have been offered in an illuminated configuration.

"We originally developed the PR2-MOA, PR2-MIL and PR3-MIL reticles with input from the country's top competitors, professional shooters, and hunters. They all wanted the same thing: A reticle that provided a clean sight picture that was free of the clutter you see with other Christmas tree designs, allowing for fast accuracy, hold-offs, and shot corrections," said John Snodgrass, Product Line Manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. "One of the very first requests we got after launching the original reticles was for illuminated versions. We're excited to bring those to the table, now, and give hunters and shooters both another reason to turn to the Mark 4HD."

All three new reticles will be available in 6-24x52 and 8-32x56 configurations, which are in FFP and feature 34mm maintubes. Like existing Mark 4HD riflescopes with illuminated reticles, the new models are push-button operated and feature Leupold's Motion Sensor Technology (MSG) which will put the illumination to sleep after five minutes of inactivity, reactivating as soon as the scope moves.

The entire Mark 4HD family features Leupold's Professional-Grade Optical System, which delivers the light transmission, glare reduction, and resolution that professional guides and shooters demand. The push-button ZeroLock dial system eliminates accidental dial movement and allows a rapid return to zero. Select models feature a similar ZeroLock windage turret.

The Mark 4HD is waterproof, fogproof, shockproof, and guaranteed to perform for life. Like all Leupold riflescopes, it is proudly designed, machined, and assembled in the company's Beaverton, Ore., factory.
