The Cabela Family Foundation has recently announced that the fourth season of their hit television series, Hard Truths of Conservation, will premier on July 4th, at 8:00AM Eastern on Animal Planet. HTC highlights the growing need for education around conservation. Moreover, the role hunting plays within it.
In the series, Dan Cabela, son of Dick and Mary Cabela who founded the outdoor-retail giant "Cabela's" in 1961, sets out on a journey across the globe to explore the "Hard Truths of Conservation" with a myriad of experts in vastly different contexts. The series highlights sustainable use as it plays a vital role in preserving habitat for wildlife and sustaining communities at the same time and the benefits of treating wildlife resources as renewable and valuable.
"The success of the show has been overwhelming," said Dan Cabela, Executive Director of the Cabela Family Foundation. "Getting messages on social media, texts, and emails from people around the world, talking about how thankful they are for the show and the impact it's having, is truly humbling."
