FWP Announces Public Comment Opportunities for the Week of June 8

Recovering northern leopard frogs in western Montana EA

FWP is proposing to reestablish self-sustaining populations of northern leopard frogs west of the Continental Divide in Montana. This goal fulfills a priority conservation action for northern leopard frogs in the 2025 Montana State Wildlife Action Plan.

Foys to Blacktail conservation easement scoping notice

FWP may be preparing an environmental analysis on a proposal to purchase a conservation easement within Flathead County. FWP is working with the Flathead Land Trust on a proposed project to place 1,131 acres of productive timberland under conservation easement.

June 12 Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting agenda items

The deadline for online and written comments for agenda items for the June 12 commission meeting has passed. However, in-person comments can be made at the meeting venue or at any FWP Regional Office throughout the state. Comments can also be made during the meeting virtually via Zoom.
