PHOENIX — Do you want to see your wildlife photography on the cover of Arizona Wildlife Views' annual calendar? Then you won't want to miss the Arizona Game and Fish Department's wildlife photo contest — which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year!
With more than 800 species of native wildlife, Arizona offers endless opportunities to capture incredible animals and stunning habitats through photography. And don't forget about fish! Do you have a shot of a native fish gliding through clear water? Or a beautiful catch-and-release moment? Your fish photos belong in this contest.
One best-in-show and 11 winners will be showcased in the Arizona Wildlife Views 2027 calendar. The best-in-show photo will be featured on the calendar's cover and as one of the photos representing a month.
We're continuing to partner with Arizona Highways to provide an easy way for participants to submit photographs. Use the online form to submit your Arizona wildlife photos. Each participant may submit a maximum of three photographs, which must be uploaded as separate submissions through the form.
Submissions will be accepted through 5 p.m. (MST) on Aug. 14, 2026.
Please review the contest details and Official Rules prior to entering. This contest is for images of Arizona wildlife. All photos must depict wildlife native to and found in Arizona, and all photos must have been taken in Arizona settings.
