The Armory Life Announces Summer 2026 Print Issue Featuring Joe Mantegna Cover Story

GENESEO, ILL. – The Armory Life is pleased to announce the release of the Summer 2026 issue of The Armory Life print magazine, featuring a cover story interview with famed actor and dedicated Second Amendment supporter Joe Mantegna. An avid shooter driven by a passion for both firearms and firearm history, Mantegna has more than 100 film credits to his name as well as countless television roles — including as the ever-popular David Rossi on "Criminal Minds".

Since its launch in 2019, TheArmoryLife.com website has proven to be an outstanding resource for firearms-oriented content. It delivers exciting and in-depth daily posts created by some of today's most respected experts in the firearms community. With the launch of the full-color, 96-page quarterly print magazine in early 2021, fans of The Armory Life were given an entirely new medium for consuming this content. Recipients of The Armory Life print magazine are selected from Springfield Armory warranty registrants. Currently, subscribers receive two years' worth (eight issues) of the magazine.

This issue's exclusive cover story interview with Mr. Mantegna provides readers with a detailed consideration of his remarkable career and achievements. In addition to that piece, the issue also features in-depth reviews of some of the latest and greatest Springfield Armory firearms available. These include the Aimpoint COA-equipped Echelon 9mm pistols, the EDC-ready 4" SA-35 pistol, the 10-8 Performance Master Class 1911, and many more. Further rounding out the issue is a detailed consideration of World War I's brutal Battle of Belleau Wood by Capt. Dale Dye.

This print magazine is designed to integrate closely with its digital sibling website, featuring easy-to-use QR codes throughout. Simply open your camera app on your smartphone and scan the code, and you'll be taken online to expanded content and video segments.

"We're honored to have had the opportunity to interview Mr. Mantegna for our cover story feature for this issue," said Mike Humphries, editor-in-chief of the magazine. "Getting a first-hand account of his multi-decade, award-winning career — as well as getting to discuss his passion for firearms — makes for another must-read issue for our subscribers."
