Leupold Pro Team Member Doug Koenig has won the 2026 Bianchi Cup National Action Pistol Championship, held May 21-24 at the Green Valley Rifle & Pistol Club in Hallsville, Missouri. The win marks Koenig's unprecedented 21st Bianchi Cup title. He finished with a perfect score of 1920-182x.
"There is no room for error when competing for the Bianchi Cup," Koenig said. "The competition has gotten better each year over the course of my career, and you've got to fight to the last shot if you want to have a chance to win. When you're competing at that kind of level, against fellow shooters like that, you need equipment that will perform at the highest level. That's why Leupold has long been my go-to optic–it's the only brand I'll trust."
The Bianchi Cup is an action pistol-style championship that demands accuracy and precision. Action shooting consists of four stages: a practical stage, a barricade stage, a falling plate stage, and a moving target stage. The championship is recognized internationally and regularly brings the very best pistol shooters in the world to Missouri.
"Doug is one of the most decorated competitive shooters we've ever seen, period," said Bruce Pettet, President & Chief Executive Officer for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. "His preparation, focus, and discipline are incredible–the definition of relentless. We congratulate him on another title."
