Hornady® congratulates Lauryl Akenhead for her performance at the Spears Mountain Safari NRL Hunter match, May 2-3, 2026, in Gladstone, Virginia.
Akenhead used Hornady 6.5 Creedmoor 140 gr. Match ammo in her 6.5mm Creedmoor to secure Top Lady honors. She also tied for high score overall, bringing home the 2nd place trophy based on power factor.

While being at the top of the podium is nothing new for Akenhead, her finish at the Spears Mountain Safari match was the highest performance by any female competitor in NRL Hunter history.
