Lolo, MT — The International Hunter Education Association-USA (IHEA-USA) is reminding agencies, volunteer instructors, conservation partners, and outdoor education professionals that there is still time to register for the 2026 IHEA-USA Annual Meeting & Training taking place June 1–4, 2026, in Glendale, Arizona.
This year's event will bring together leaders from across the hunter education community for several days of collaboration, training, discussion, and professional development focused on the future of safe, ethical, and modern hunter education.
While in-person attendance remains available, IHEA volunteer members can also attend virtually for free, making it easier for instructors and partners across the country to participate regardless of travel limitations. IHEA-USA believes opportunities for education, collaboration, and community building should be as accessible as possible, and the virtual option helps ensure more instructors, agencies, and partners can stay connected to important conversations happening across the field.
This year's agenda includes:
• AI and technology workshops focused on modern hunter education
• New research surrounding the safety of online learning
• Blood trailing app technology presentation
• National program updates, partnerships, and educational innovation
• Networking and collaboration opportunities with agencies and organizations from across North America
The Annual Meeting & Training serves as one of the largest gatherings dedicated to hunter education professionals and volunteers, offering opportunities to share ideas, strengthen partnerships, and explore emerging tools and strategies supporting the future of outdoor education and conservation.
"We continue to see strong momentum across hunter education as agencies and organizations work together to meet changing needs and modernize how education is delivered," said Alex Baer, Executive Director of IHEA-USA. "This event creates an important space for collaboration, learning, and innovation across our national community."
Volunteer instructors, agency staff, and partners interested in attending virtually are encouraged to register soon.
