Silhouette
From the roots of old Mexico, dating back to the 20th Century, Silhouette shooting has been a mainstay for our industry and provides an inexpensive option for shooters, hunters and plinkers to participate without the heavy financial burden of other competitive shooting sports. Offered in both centerfire and rimfire with the latter having the majority of participation due to lower costs and comfort of shooting 22LR in standing position. In general, National Championships are held in Western Canada and only applicable to rifle shooting.

Benchrest
Offered in both Rimfire and Centrefire, Benchrest shooters focus on precision and accuracy through systematic experimentation of reloading and working with their firearm in the specific environment where the competition is held. 99.9% of Benchrest shooters will handload their ammunition to optimize performance. It's not uncommon a Benchrest shooter will adjust their load in the midst of a competition to accommodate an environmental change. Rimfire is prohibited to use hand loads and is best determined by a proper Lot test to determine high level performance.

Precision Rifle Series
One of the fastest growing sports, Precision Rifle Series, offers both Centerfire and 22LR competitions. With several different categories offered, shooters have a variety of options to participate utilizing precision rifles in practical applications and courses. Shooters learn to utilize ballistics, Gun "Dope", environmentals and their shooting fundamentals to make these tricky shots in all conditions of weather and scenarios. In addition to the PRS league, Canada has developed the Canadian Rimfire Precision Series (CRPS) as well.

NRL Hunter
Along the same theme of the Precision Rifle Series but using observation and other "Hunter" tools to find and locate targets, followed by precision shooting. NRL has become more embracing to all hunters that enjoy shooting and curating their skills.
